Post-concert kudos…

Mas happy, more energy ‘yang si Kuya Mon. Kumanta din ‘yan during the event. To Kuya Mon: “Direk! Good take!”

Si Ate Jo na mas-nakilala ko during this entire event. Akala ko noon tahimik lang si Ate Jo pero super kulit din pala, especially once she finds herself comfortable with a person. Super coordinator ‘yan kahit ngarag na. Siya ang backbone ng event na ito. Kung baga sa internet, siya yung connection. I’ve never seen the spotlight on Ate Jo. She’s always on the background doing the things that we may neglect to do. And she does it well. She gives it her best. She does it faithfully. I’m not sure if she realizes how much of a difference she makes, but she really does make a difference. To Ate Jo: “I mean it. Love kita.”

It’s so easy to open up to her kasi. Ang dali kong naging comfortable sa kanya kasi napaka-open din niya about both her struggles and her victories. You see immediately how much she’s really just depending on God’s grace and not on her own strength. Ate Aires is also a co-scriptwriter. Siya asikaso ng food and all that jazz. To Ate Ai: “Hug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Si Kuya Cris na nagkasugat-sugat ang kamay noong nagpaka-stuntman (holding the electric fan) during one of our video shoots. Lights on!” ‘Pag kailangan isara, “Kuya Cristian! Lights off!”

Ang may super duper great suggestion na mag-corporate fast ang YC Core for the Life Ko ‘To Concert. To Ate Jubeng: “Na-imbag talaga nga nagpray and fast ta… mayat ti napasamak idi sabado! Suruam man isuda ‘ti Ilokano.

Parang laging nagjojoke pero makakausap ng seryoso when it matters. Siya ang nagpa-kalma sa akin (whether he knows it or not) noong may naging issue ako about a concert invite. To Kuya Jhops: “No worries lang.”

Hindi masyadong lumilitaw sa meetings pero when she’s there, I always take advantage of the chance to talk to her and find out what she has to say about the things that I’m going through. It’s always encouraging to talk to her, kasi alam ko na she’s been through a lot of the things that I’m going through and she was able to overcome. Nakakatuwa to see how God has been working in her life these past months. To Ate Mitch: “I miss you as always!!! Thanks so much! Ever ever after!!!”

Si Dona Mae Carmela Dy na nakakatuwa ang faithfulness sa pag-quota ng more than 20 chapters a day. In spite of her busyness and kahit na ngarag sa duty, ever present pa din sa meetings at laging dala ang kanyang unique brand of hyper-ness. I’m so blessed by her commitment and heart for God and am totally excited to see how God will use her these coming days. To Dona Mae Carmela Dy: “Thanks for the comforting words last meeting. I super appreciated it!”

Soweeeee, dawlene……… Same as Dona, it’s a blessing to stand witness to her commitment and heart for God. It’s always a joy to see her. To Darlene: “Don’t worry. We understand. We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Syempre hindi pwedeng matapos ang pagbibigay-kudos ko without giving God the glory that He deserves.
He’s the Reason, the Drive, the Strength, the Source of every good thing that came out of this concert. Life Ko ‘To was for Him, from Him, through Him. May His love and His light continue to shine in each and every one of us!
    oOo

In conclusion: Pap-parap-pap-pa! Life Ko ‘To!
